Steam up your weekend (and your digs!) with a stop at the International Vintage Poster Fair. The world’s oldest and largest expo of its kind is making a pit stop in Chicago with more than 10,000 authentic posters dated from the 1890s to the 1980s and vetted by the International Vintage Poster Dealers Association (IVPDA). The feature exhibit, Sex Sells! Sex Appeal in Advertising! will be a main point of focus, as will this evening’s opening party: enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, a raffle and a lecture. Whether you’re a new collector or a seasoned vet, you’re sure to find something here—styles ranging from Art Deco to Art Nouveau, Modernism and Victorian will all be on display and available for purchase. We like this colorful TWA travel poster!
