Summer’s finally heating up in Chicago, but River North’s new late night hot spot is keeping everybody cool. Tzar Ultra Lounge, the club/lounge hybrid that opened its doors just a few weeks back, offers Chicagoans a fresh alternative to the standard nightlife scene. Founder James Oraha of Level Builders construction design firm has modeled TZAR after the world’s best nightclubs in Russia, Europe, Las Vegas and Manhattan with über-provocative décor that boasts LED-light runways and leather tufted ceilings. The club’s most unique feature, however, lies within its Vodka Vault—an elevated, refrigerated and translucent bar that holds more than 150 hand-chosen Vodka spirits. Borrow one of the club’s mink coats to stay warm in the chilly 27-degree bar area, or order drinks from one of the custom IPad drink menus in one of the private fireside seating or raised VIP areas, where guests can see and be seen. Those wanting to host private parties at TZAR can even browse signature menus from Kinzie Chophouse. Hurry up and get in line—we’re willing to bet this cool club will be red hot in no time.
